What is the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU).  It provides a common obligation for organizations exposed to personally identifiable information (PII) associated with persons located in the EU. This law presents guidelines that will affect companies all over the world.

What rights do I have under the GDPR?

You have the right to:

  • Review your personal data

  • Amend errors in your personal data

  • Oppose processing of your personal data

  • Delete your personal data

Your personal data can be deleted at any time. However, please note that by deleting your personal data, all game progress and virtual goods or currency paid for and/or acquired will be terminated and cannot be reinstated later.

Duplicates of certain information such as log records, may remain in our database but are separated from personal identifiers. For additional information regarding deletion of your personal data and how to cease to receive communications, please see our privacy policy.


If you don’t wish to delete your account, but would like to temporarily disable it and reactivate it later, you may request to do so.


How is my data processed?

As described in our privacy policy, any data that a user entered into our systems will only be processed in accordance with the user’s consent.

What does Beach Bum do as data controller?

Beach Bum is committed to comply with the GDPR guidelines to the fullest extent across our services and provide related assurance in our contractual commitments.

Beach Bum acts as a data controller when collecting personal data and determining its purposes and means of processing it. An example is when Beach Bum stores account information for providing users with its Services and Customer Support.


All Beach Bum employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete mandatory privacy and Code of Conduct trainings, which specifically address the responsibilities and expected behavior with respect to the protection of information.
