Beach Bum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help us build, implement, monitor and improve architecture and performance of our cloud infrastructure. In addition to write tools and scripts to automate maintenance and monitoring tasks and implement efficient, and robust features to build scalable infrastructure.

 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer your responsibilities include CI/CD process ownership, Write tools and scripts to automate maintenance and monitoring tasks and implement efficient, and robust features to build scalable infrastructure, building deployment scripts for cloud environments, managing Kubernetes cluster, deploying product updates, identify and resolve complex production issues.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support automation for QA and staging environments

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks

• Work hand in hand with engineers to develop tools to automate tasks, resolve bottlenecks, and improve scalability/reliability to keep up with our growth

• Develop CI/CD pipelines

• Collaborate with R&D teams on application infrastructure, deployment, operations, and debugging

• Maintain QA and Staging environments running on Kubernetes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application development, deployment, and operations

• Perform root cause analysis for production errors

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer managing production systems.

• Experience in public cloud (AWS)

• Experience working with Kubernetes and Helm

• Experience with Terraform

• Experience with Jenkins or an equivalent CI/CD tool

• Experience with Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana / Cloud Watch

• Experience with Linux and scripting (Python/Bash)

• Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.

• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scopes concurrently, while meeting all timeline

• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scopes concurrently, while meeting all deadlines

Advantage:

• Experienced with Ansible, Redis and Elasticsearch

• Provisioning, operating, and debugging of relational databases such as MySQL- advantage
