DBA (Database Administrator)

The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for the overall performance, integrity, and security of the databases. This includes planning, implementing, and maintaining the database structure and ensuring that it is optimized for maximum performance and reliability. The Senior DBA will also be responsible for monitoring and tuning the database, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.

And run complex scripts and effectively manipulate large amounts of data. This skill set is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning and maintenance of our company's database system.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all databases are optimized for performance, reliability, and security

• Plan and implement the overall database structure of new products

• Monitor and tune all databases to ensure maximum performance and availability

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise with the database

• Collaborate with other members of the development team to design and implement database solutions

• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and best practices

Qualifications:​

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 3+ years of experience as a DBA in a gaming company or other high-performance environment

• Strong knowledge and experience in database design and implementation

• Experience with MySQL design and implementation

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Friendly and able to work well in a team environment

Advantage:

• Knowledge and experience in database security best practices and encryption methods

• Other databases such as document DB or/and graph DB

• PHP development experience

• Working with big data

• Experience with Amazon infrastructures
