Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the comprehensive design and management of the game’s economy, ensuring a seamless integration with core gameplay loops and enhancing user experience.
  • Strategize and balance both the free and paid economies, including pricing virtual goods and configuring in-game activities to optimize player engagement and revenue.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze economy-related KPIs to detect and address any imbalances that could negatively impact the game’s overall health.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business objectives while driving initiatives that maximize player engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Design, implement, and analyze economic models, simulations, and A/B tests to inform and validate changes to the game economy.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including analytics, product, monetization, and development, to ensure alignment and achieve business goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven experience in data analysis or economics within a B2C Company.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel, with advanced skills in formulas, data manipulation, and analysis.
  • Strong passion for working with numbers, data analysis, and complex formulas.
  • Strong technical skills and quick learning ability.
  • An interest in mobile games.
  • Knowledge of SQL – an advantage.
